The Complete Metropolis

This is the product of my most recent Drawing assignment at the university.  The assignment was to capture an intense emotion using high contrast.  I chose to use an iconic scene from the 1927 Fritz Lang silent film Metropolis as my muse.  If you haven't seen the Complete Metropolis yet, I highly recommend it.

So it has come to this...

This is a new blog that I've started up to present the art that I'm creating.  I have all of these drawings and paintings sitting in my closet not doing anyone any good, so I figured that I might as well post it somewhere online.  I hope you enjoy it.  Feel free to post comments, start discussions, quote movie lines, deliver criticism, or compliment along the way.  Feedback is always welcome.
